We want to create a social movement that will lead to an affordable system of long-term care and support that allows people to get the help they need in a way that maximizes their autonomy and supports their individuality and independence.
Gaining public support (and hence legislative support) will require a new public dialog that recognizes the desired attributes of good LTC and demonstrates that good care can make a difference in the lives of frail older people.
